| In today’s globalized market environment,the competition between foreign and domestic manufacturing enterprises is increasingly fierce worldwide,and the domestic manufacturing industry is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities.With the continuous upgrading of equipment and technology in manufacturing enterprises,customers have increasingly high requirements for product quality and performance.Production enterprises generally use streamlined production lines for product manufacturing to quickly and massively produce qualified products.Although a flow production line can make the operation content of each workstation continuous and easy to operate,due to the fact that the operation time of each workstation cannot be exactly the same,using a flow production line can lead to uneven operation load at each station,unnecessary waste of working time,and product accumulation at work stations,and other undesirable phenomena,which can seriously lead to the shutdown of the entire production line.How to balance production lines and improve production capacity and efficiency has become a key issue of concern for manufacturing enterprises around the world.This article first sorts out and summarizes the research literature on production line balance optimization at home and abroad.Based on my practical research results in GL Company,I selected the A-type trousers sewing production line of GL Company for research.Using on-site actual research and data query,I identified the existing problems in the production line,and used action analysis methods,0-1 integer programming,etc.to improve and optimize the current trousers sewing production line,Finally,the FlexSim simulation software is used to compare and analyze the two improvement plans for the sewing production line of western pants,and select the plan that is more suitable for GL Company.The main achievements of this study are as follows:(1)Using field research methods,job element analysis methods,and stopwatch timing methods,detailed records and analysis were conducted on the field environment,production process,and operation time of GL’s current A-type pants sewing production line.(2)Use the action analysis in industrial engineering methods to analyze and improve bottleneck processes.Based on the improvement of bottleneck processes,a 0-1 integer programming model is used to construct two types of production line activity element reorganization schemes.Lingo12 software is used to solve and analyze the model,and the optimal activity element configuration scheme under the two types of schemes is obtained.(3)Using FlexSim simulation software,establish a model of two types of activity element reorganization schemes and compare them with the current production line.Taking into account the production line balance rate,smoothness index,output,and other indicators,select the second type of scheme that can better meet the current production demand of GL Company.This article combines relevant methods in industrial engineering with system simulation technology and 0-1 integer programming to optimize the design of the sewing production line for GL Company’s A-type trousers,effectively improving the balance rate and output of the production line,and reducing the impact of bottleneck processes on the entire production line.Improving the balance rate of production lines is of great significance for enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.This study not only provides a convincing solution for improving the GL trousers sewing production line,but also provides some reference for similar enterprises to improve the production line balance rate and management level. |
