Since the reform and opening up,China's manufacturing industry has begun a golden period of rapid development.Although modem manufacturing industries mostly use assembly line operations,many companies' production lines still remain in the state of manual operations and semi-automated operations,and the level of automation is low.In addition,in many companies,there is an inconsistent production cycle between each job on the production line,which leads to a poor balance between production lines and production efficiency.In the new economic situation,if companies want to maintain market competitive advantages,they must reduce costs and increase production efficiency.Therefore,this article chooses the K company belt conveyor idler production line as the research object,and has important significance for the research of the production line balance problem.This article mainly selects the roller production line of K company's belt conveyor as the object of study.According to the problems existing in the roller production line,it proposes a reasonable improvement plan and achieves the goal of improving the production line balance rate and production efficiency.First of all,it summarizes the current research status of production line balance at home and abroad,summarizes the concept and evaluation indicators of the production line balance problem from previous research results,and then observes the current production status of the roller production line of K company and points out that the production line balance exists.For the problem,the combination of IE method and heuristic algorithm was chosen to optimize the balance of the production line.Select the stopwatch method to determine the standard time of the job,obtain the bottleneck process of the idler production line,and then find the various evaluation indicators for the balance of the production line.Among them,the balance rate of the production line was increased from 53.4%before improvement to 90.5%,the balance loss rate was reduced from 46.6%before improvement to 9.5%,the smoothing coefficient was reduced from 51.2 to 12.6,and all evaluation indicators were improved.Finally,using the Flexsim simulation software to improve the program to simulate the improvement program,the simulation results show that the improvement program has certain feasibility and rationality.
