As the competition is increasingly fierce between industries and enterprises, itbecomes an important issue that how to make the enterprise to achieve theadvantageous resources in the competition in order to insure the enterprise efficient,stable, sustainable operation. Besides, it also becomes a major problem for strategicleaders to think about that formulating appropriate enterprise development strategyand controlling and adjusting the strategy according to the changes of internal andexternal environment. In the times of talent competition in21st century, how toachieve high level of strategic performance output has become an emergencyproblem.In view of this, from the perspective of the relationship between strategicleadership behavior and subordinates’ task commitment, this paper establishes therelational model between strategic leadership behavior and strategic task commitmentusing many methods such as correlation analysis and regression analysis in SPSS17.0.At the same time, this paper explains which behaviors the effective strategic leadersshould equipped with and how to influence the subordinates’ strategic taskcommitment through the effective behaviors so that enterprises can implement thestrategy smoothly. In the study, this paper draws the following conclusion:First of all, it confirms a positive relationship between the different dimensionsof strategic leadership behavior and strategic task commitment through appling themodified MLQ (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire) and self-reportedmeasurement. Second of all, in the dimensions of strategic leadership behavior,transformational leadership behavior has most obvious influence on strategic taskcommitment and intellectual stimulation has less influence on strategic taskcommitment. That is to say, strategic leaders can affect subordinates’ strategic taskcommitment according to adjusting their own behaviors in the process of strategyimplementation, which is used to adjust the deviation between strategy formulationand strategy implementation as a tool of strategic control. |
