As network technology continues to improve and develop, internet enterprises rapidlygrowing and undergoing unprecedented changes. After an explosive growth in the late1990s, internet enterprises has experienced the internet bubble burst in2000, and turned totoday’s recovery and pragmatic development. How internet enterprises should be do in acompetitive environment to survive and develop, which has caused people to rethink andreconsider about their business models. This thesis choose the "internet business model" asthe object of study, from the perspective of value creation configuration to explore theessential difference of different internet business models.At first, the thesis defines the internet enterprises, and summarizes the research focusof business models in the domestic and international concerning the definition,classification and elements. Secondly, analyzing the close relationship between valuecreation and business models and demonstrating the rationality of business model analysisfrom the perspective of the value creation configuration, and then, proposing the businessmodel’s nine constituent elements and success factors which affect business models afteranalyses of them. Moreover, according to the theory of value creation, it divides businessmodels into three basic types: the value chain business model, the value shop businessmodel and the value network business model. And use the basic framework of theconstituent elements to analysis and compares the nature and characteristic of each type ofbusiness models in clearly. At last, it uses purposive sampling method to choose the twocases of Dangdang and Amazon, and uses the basic framework of the constituent elementsto analysis them and find the essence causes of the successful cases, in order to put forwardsome constructive opinions to internet enterprises who want to establish business modelswhich adapt itself.
