With the increasing social competition, people’s life style and consumptionconcept have been changing all the time and casual wear attracts more and moreconsumers. T-shirts, which are simply designed, made of comfortable fabrics and letconsumers feel relaxed, attract more and more consumers in this modern society, so ithas an extending consumer group. In recent years, mercerized cotton T-shirts appearin the market. Though low profile, they are also fashion and suitable to wear inbusiness occasions, in the office as well as at leisure time. More and more maleconsumers, especially white collar and successful men, like them, so more and moregarment enterprises began to design and manufacture mercerized cotton T-shirts so asto obtain market share. In order to make manufacturers know the current marketsituation and future demand and avoid manufacturing mercerized cotton T-shirtswhich are not met to the demand of consumers, based on market surveys, this paperwould analyze the domestic mercerized cotton T-shirts market and predict thedemand.After reading others’ papers, based on the market surveys, this paper analyze thecurrent situation of mercerized cotton T-shirts market overall and draw to thefollowing conclusions.1.The market size of domestic mercerized cotton T-shirts isstably increasing with a speed of13.95%per year.2.Condition of supply and demandpolarize. At last, accordingto the analysis, several suggestions are given.
