With the rapid development of economy,people’s living standard graduallyimprove,wine as a health drink is starting to get the favour of broad consumer.Chinesewine production and consumption are increasing,but the per capita consumption is stillnot up to the world average level,so the domestic consumption potential ishuge;meanwhile,due to the deepening of degree of trade liberalization,the barriers thatforeign wine enter into China gradually are weakened, China wine export to foreigncountries and the foreign wine export to China are relatively free.Therefore, in recentyears, China’s number and amount of imported wines are constantly increasing,and thatChinese wine market share is also gradually occupied by imported wine.the importedwines flood into China,on the one hand,they provide better consumption choices fordomestic consumers;on the other hand,they will inevitably affect domestic wine.This thesis main studies the impact of the tariff gradually lower on the importedwine of our country with the aid of gravity model.The empirical results show that underthe condition of assuming other factors constant,lower tariff promotes the development ofChina’s wine imports.China’s per capita GDP has a bigger role in promoting wineimports.This article points out the existing problem of imported wine market in China,analyses the influence of the increasing imported wine on wine industry in our country,the analysis show that the increasing imported wines have a negative effect on theoperating performance of wine enterprises in China.Finally,the paper put forward someadvice to deal with challenges from the angle of enterprise and government,We hope thatdomestic wine can gradually grow up in competition with the imported wine.
