In recent years, the domestic petrochemical enterprises face with grim situation andchallenges, in order to meet the requirements of rapid development in petrochemicalenterprises, to raise the scientific decision-making ability and level of management ofpetrochemical enterprise, to enhance the competitiveness of enterprise, petrochemicalenterprises present the broader, more urgent demand on the application of informationtechnology. The petrochemical enterprise has always attached importance to the automationand information. However, there is lack of effective communication and cooperation betweenprocess automation and management information. On century ninety time development forthe MES system is an effective way to solve the problem. The MES is a important technologyto improve the competitiveness of enterprise.The manufacturing executive system can monitor and manage the entire manufacturingprocess of petrochemical enterprise by form an integration real-time information platform.Operation and management teams can manger and optimize the course of production in themost inexpensive way.This paper first conducted a comprehensive analysis of the management mode andbusiness process as well as the foundation of information of DaGang petrochemical company.Based on the research and analysis of business management and foundation of information,combined with the company production process characteristics, ultimately determine theconstruction target of MES in DaGang petrochemical company. To realize the collection,storage, summary and analysis of production process data information. Build a unifiedproduction operation management platform based on PHD real-time database system. Sharethe date of production process real-time, the date of laboratory analysis, the date of publicworks measurement in various business departments. Provide detailed, accurate,timely production operation information for the company’s production decision. Eventually realizethe management and optimization of the whole production process lifecycle, which is fromproduction planning and scheduling to production operation, and then to the statistics andfeedback of production data.Through the construction of MES system, realize the integration of production processdate information in DaGang petrochemical company. Provide a strong support by informationtechnology for management and decision of enterprise production. Realize the supervisionand control of the entire production process. Improve the planning and controllability ofenterprise production.
