China’s oil companies are under the guidance of "going out" strategy, and they areactively exploring overseas markets and increasing investment for overseas markets tocompensate for the imbalance between supply and demand of domestic oil and gas. Howeveras they are different between political, economic, military, cultural and religious beliefsduring different countries, and they have different characteristics of petroleum projects itsown high-risk, high-tech requirements, coordination difficulties, so the probability of conflictboth beliefs, values, emotions, etc increase significantly between organization. Conflict mayalso occur between our employees in overseas projects may because of the scarcity ofresources, power asymmetries.This paper mainly includes five parts. First part is talk about organizational conflicttheory, project management theory and project organizational conflict theory. Second part istalk about elaborates the status quo of the organizational conflict in China’s overseas oilprojects. It mainly recognizes the organizational conflict phenomenon of overseas oil project,describes the problems and analysis the causes of conflict in overseas oil project organization.The third part is talk about the experience of organization’s conflict management from foreignenterprises in different countries, the main content includes how to strengthen the control ofinformation communication in the organizational conflict; Strengthen the communicationbetween the superior and the subordinate; Senior project manager attaches great importance tothe organizational conflict and conflict prevention; The fourth part uses game theory andorganizational conflict dimensional model to save the problem of specific organizationalconflict and propose specific measures. The last part is summary, mainly give a summary ofthe paper.This paper proposes measures which can strengthen resources environment’s influenceon the organizational conflict research, the coordination of constructive conflict anddestructive conflict, update the organizational conflict management concepts and stimulate theconstructive organizational conflict. The measures also include the way which is to strengthenthe third-party mediation and intervention strategies, rational use of petroleum enterprises ofoverseas project organizational conflict coordination.
