In recent years, globalization is a widely discussed topic by the people, scholars andgovernments from all over the world. With the globalization of economic and the spread ofinformation, the communications between different countries and different cultures becomemore frequent. As the17th century, the emergence of the first multinational corporations inFinland, especially since the twenty-first century and China’s accession to WTO,multinational corporations are springing up around the world and develop quickly. In recentyears, Korean companies in China have made great achievements in China and many Koreanproducts have won the recognition and favor of customer in China. But at the same time, wefind that the internal management of Korean-owned enterprises still has many problems.Through the survey, the reason is the Korean companies itself as a result of particular socialculture.In this paper, the related problems of cross-cultural human resource management arestudied. On this basis, combining with the cultural features of Korean companies in China, thepaper discusses the cultural differences on cross-cultural Korean-owned enterprise humanresources management in detail, and further discusses the implementation of cross-culturalhuman resource management in Korean companies in China. At the same time, combinedwith the main measures and characteristic of human resource management in ShanghaiSamsung semiconductor Co. LTD., especially its advantage and disadvantages incross-cultural human resource management, the paper puts forward countermeasures tofurther improve the cross-cultural human resource management of Korean-owned enterprises.The research of this paper is not only useful for the improvements of Koreanmultinational enterprises, but also useful for all multinational companies all over the world. Ithelps to improve their cross-cultural management and the overall strength of multinationalcompanies.
