| The first part of this thesis introduces the background of the S powerprovider groups’ Industry in detail. It reveals the fact that the centralized andmeticulous management is the future of the power provider groups. Thisthesis introduces the research of the centralized and meticulous managementof the S power provider groups. The research has two important meanings,one is to enhance the theory of the centralized and meticulous management ofthe power provider groups, the other is to provide reference to the centralizedand meticulous management of the other power provider groups. The theoriesused in this thesis include the enhanced Five Forces Model, the SWOTModel, the centralized and meticulous management and ERP. The second part of this thesis analyzes the circumstances of the PowerIndustry. Firstly, it introduces the characteristics of the Power Industry.Secondly, it introduces the relationship among the Power Industry, theupstream and downstream of the Power Industry. Then it reveals themanagement and competition of the Power Industry. Finally, it summarizesthe circumstances of the Power Industry through the enhanced Five ForcesModel.The third part of this thesis analyzes the circumstances of the S powerprovider groups. Firstly, it introduces the overview of the S power providergroups. Secondly, it analyzes the competitiveness of the S power providergroups through the strengths, the weaknesses and the contrast with otherpower provider groups. Then it discusses the strategy of the S power providergroups. Finally, it summarizes the circumstances of the S power providergroups through the SWOT Model.The fourth part of this thesis introduces the research of the centralizedand meticulous management in detail. Firstly, it summarizes the problemsencountered during the development of the S power provider groups. Then, itreveals that the centralized and meticulous management is the solution of theproblems for the S power provider groups. Finally, it introduces theimplementation of the centralized and meticulous management, including building the centralized unified platform, business process reengineering,unified business coding and information system implementation.The fifth part of this thesis compared the situation of S power providergroups before and after the centralized and meticulous management. After theinformation project, the company achieved the unified platform (unifiedhardware platform, unified software platform, unified data platform). Thecontrol efforts of the holding companies was significantly improved. Theresources were integrated and the technical knowledge were shared amongthe groups. Because all of these results, the competitiveness of the S powerprovider groups was enhanced and the performance of the S power providergroups increased to a new levelThe centralized and meticulous management transformation of the Spower provider groups may not be perfect, and there are a lot of places toimprove, but it is a successful transformation. Through the informationproject, the S power provider groups achieved the transformation from theinvestment company to the investment management company.The successful centralized and meticulous management transformation ofthe S power provider groups not only has a significant impact to itself, butalso has a significant reference value to the power industry. Because otherpower groups like the S company also have the need to change from distributed to centralized and from extensive to meticulous. Hope that thisthesis will provide some inspiration and reference to the centralized andmeticulous management transformation or information project of other powerprovider groups. |
