In the face of the complex internal and external environment of enterprises, Inorder to get a position in the competitive market and win a long-time development, enterprises mustformulate the appropriate development strategy.This article uses company LY group as an example and LY group is a private enterprise engagedin the department store retail.By analyzing its internal and external conditions, drawing up itsenterprise development strategy and improving its effectiveness of business, this article helpsenterprises to find a way in keeping and improving competitive ability in the long-term development.At first, this thesis made a theoretical review of strategic management theory, looked back theprevious researching achievements about strategic management theory made by other scholars andexperts and then had a clear idea about their developing path so as to lay down a sound theoreticbasis for the following analysis.Next,after analyzing the internal and external environment,the paper confirmed the LYgroup’s strategy-position and KSFs by means of SWOT-analysis and the five-force model.Final,the paper developed the company strategy for LY group’s development strategy from twoaspects, the overall strategy and seven postponement strategies.
