Employee satisfaction directly determines business performance and sustainabledevelopment of an enterprise. Conducting surveys on employee satisfaction helps tomaster the employees’ recognition degree to the enterprise. Through surveys,employees can be found on the opinions and suggestions of the enterprise; so measurescan be taken to boost economic and social benefits of the enterprise, thus promotingsustainable development of the enterprise. As in recent years, the state has increasedinvestment in railway projects, railway engineering and construction industry isushering a period of prosperity. Particularly the high-speed rail technology continues tomake breakthroughs, leading the construction of China’s high-speed rail into anunprecedented stage of fast development. Railway construction boom has broughtdevelopment opportunities to the enterprise; however, the employees are in face oftighter schedule, heavier workload, and higher labor intensity than previously required.The employees’ sense of identity and satisfaction will provide more valuable referencefor the effective improvement of enterprise management.This thesis has TYY companies for the study object, makes research and analysison satisfaction of technical personnel by questionnaires, which investigate differentgroups of people with different age, education, gender, work experience and jobsectors of their work environment, development, salaries and welfare in threedimensions. The study finds that the overall corporate employee satisfaction degree isnot high; higher employee satisfaction lies in work development while lower employeesatisfaction lies in salary and welfare. Further study finds that there is a lot ofemployees’ self-induced dissatisfaction, that enterprise performance evaluation system needs to be improved, that the distribution mechanism is not perfect, and that humanresource management needs to be strengthened. According to the research findings, thecompany needs to further improve the communication mechanism, strengthen thesystem of executive power, make good career planning in their future human resourcemanagement, thus maximizing employee satisfaction, and ultimately promoting thehealthy and sustainable development of the enterprise.
