Secondly, thenecessity of developing low-carbon economy in China and the current situation ofChinese low-carbon enterprises internationality is elaborated. Finally, on the basisof previous analysis, we propose the research hypothesis and research model forthe relationship between the internationality of Chinese low-carbon enterprise andoperating performance. Forty-four listed domestic companies of low-carbon platesfrom2009to2013are selected as the research samples to establish multivariateregression model between the degree of internationalization as the dependentvariable. The empirical results are proposed that at the present stage therelationship between the degree of internationalization of Chinese low-carbonenterprises and operating performance is negative when the rate of return on totalassets (ROA) are used as business performance indicators. In the context of economic globalization and low-carbon economy, the maingoals of the paper are to reveal the current problems of international operations in Chinese low-carbon enterprises, propose proper suggestions for the improvementof entire competitive capacity and operating performance, and provide referencesfor formulation of the relevant policies and regulations.
