Research On Chinese Herbal Medicine Insurance Of Farmers Of Dingxi City

Since ancient times, the position of agriculture in the China economic production are incomparable with other industries, as a large agricultural country which is known to all the world, China has always regarded "three rural issues" as the main problems in the revolution construction and pays attention. Although in today when reform and modernization construction are promoted, "The properly solution of the three rural issues" is closely related to the whole economic construction. From the practice of "three rural" of China, What farmers are current lack of are not money, not technology, butrather a set of scientific management mechanisms which can be able to achieve risk diversification and transfer. And the agricultural insurance is such a mechanism, for farmers, it can effectively transfer risks; for the country, it can be used as the guarantee of the agriculture development. Ding xi City known as the "China medicine city " and "the Millennium medicine rural", is the agricultural insurance pilot, to further promote the development of local medicine industry, he method of "alliance and coinsurance" of the local government and insurance companies is used, the first policy agricultural insurance was successfully handled. As the agricultural insurance which is the most representative of the bulk of crop insurance, but also related to the vitalinterests of many farmers and national grain production safety insurance, the promotion of Chinese herbal medicine planting insurance will accumulate experience for the implementation of various types of agricultural insurance mechanism.This paper will take medicines that are only insurance as the objects which are analyzed and researched.This paper will study the influence factors on farmers medicines insurance needs, according to the agricultural insurance distributions of Dingxi city Weiyuan county and Longxi County, the practical investigations are made.The study is determined the investigated objects on the random sampling method, and the original data isobtained according to the target farmers questionnaire and the form of informal interviews, and on this basis, through descriptive statistics analysis,the influence factors on farmers medicines insuranceneeds are identified. Based on a series of analysis results, this paper will mainly put forward policy advice to improve the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in agricultural insurance in order to promote the development of local agriculture.
