As the technological pole of agricultural innovation, agricultural science and technology park is a new model which leads the transition of agricultural technology diffusion. The research of the park’s technology diffusion mechanism and model, has important theoretical and practical significance to promote agricultural innovation transformation, accelerate agricultural modernization and promote the development of agricultural areas.This dissertation follows the logic of "Theoretical Analysis-A Case Study",and takes Dingxi agricultural science and technology park as object to carry out this research.Firstly, this dissertation adopts the associated theory in economic geography, agricultural economics and communication, constructs the theoretic frame of potato technology diffusion system. Secondly, taking the study of spatial effect of technology diffusion as a starting point, this dissertation analyzes the spatial characteristics of potato technology diffusion on the "top-down" and "bottom-up" respectively with the use of the "gravitology model", "Bivariate Correlation " method. Then, based on the perspective of "connection between the upper and lower ",this dissertation analyzes the coupling state of technology diffusion system with the use of statistical analysis. Accordingly, it uses the binary logistic regression model to identify factors of effective demand of technology.Finally, by analyzing the spatial characteristics and restrictive factors of coupling technology diffusion, the dissertation proposes the optimization path, and reconstructs a new diffusion model. This dissertation’s main conclusions are as follows:(1) Government-led forces is the dynamic source of the external mechanism of park’s technology diffusion system. Under the push of government, technology diffuses as the way of "top-down", and shows the existence of" hierarchical effect" and " space neighbor effect", indicating that technology diffusion is the combination of hierarchical diffusion and expansion diffusion.(2) Market-led forces is the dynamic source of the internal mechanism of park’s technology diffusion system. Under the push of market, technology diffuses as the "bottom-up" approach, and shows "regional level effect" and " space neighbor effect", indicating that technology diffusion is the combination of hierarchical diffusion and expansion diffusion.(3) Under the interaction between government and market forces, technology completes supply and adoption as the "connection between the upper and lower" diffusion approach, and the balance of technical supply and demand is the major aspect of the study of coupled diffusion systems. Analysis shows that the imbalance of technology supply and demand lead to uncoupled system, mainly presented as the unequal structure of supply and demand, the unbalanced spatial distribution,and lack of coordination on the level of supply and demand. In addition, the binary regression analysis of effective demand shows that education, expenditure of agricultural consumption, the planting scale, degree of specialization, the perception of the disaster are significant factors which affect the fanners’ technical effective demand in Dingxi agricultural science and technology park.(4) Based on the existing deficiencies and problems which exist in the diffusion model, this dissertation introduces farmers’ participation in the system, put forward the ring diffusion model called "enterprise lead, government support, farmers participate in ".The model with its interactive feedback advantages in the organization, leads the coordinated development of the system, thereby eliminating the restrictive factors, forming a reasonable spatial pattern of diffusion, realizing the coupling system.
