The Role Study Of China-ASEAN Expo In Exported-oriented Economy Of Guangxi

CAFTA was established to promote social and economic development of Guangxi and it brings a lot of opportunities for Guangxi. One of the most great opportunities was Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi, has become permanent host city of China-ASEAN Expo. It needs both trade cooperation and cultural exchanges for the promotion of the relations between China and ASEAN, China-ASEAN Expo can satisfy the needs of the development of bilateral relations exactly. Since 2004, the specific role of the expo in export-oriented economic development of Guangxi was the purpose of the research since 2004,the first year of the expo started. Reviewing the past 11 years, based on the effectiveness of the expo and the situation of exported-oriented economic development of Guangxi, empirical analysis was chosen to be used to show the impact which occurs on the former to the latter comprehensively. Listing closely related to the exported-oriented economy of Guangxi, such as foreign trade, foreign investment, inbound tourism, transport and logistics, regional cooperation, then compared them to show the difference before and after the Expo. First, the changes of the exported-oriented economic changes before and after the expo was sought to reflect objectively. Second, the exhibitors feedback information was collected through my fieldwork and the similar expositions hold in other province was compared with it. Last, access the role of the exposition in exported-oriented economy accurately, instead of exaggerating or weakening.
