A Study On The Social Impact Of Government-led Exhibition On Hosting Cities A Comparison Between China-ASEAN Expo And Canton Fair

China's exhibition industry is with the deepening of reform and opening up and the socialist market economic system and the rapid development of a new industry,after years of accumulation and development,has begun to take shape,become a new bright spot in the service industry.This paper takes the government-led exhibition as the research object,divides the life cycle stage of the government-led exhibition into the case study with the China-ASEAN Expo and the China Import and Export Fair(Canton Fair)as the research case and the product life cycle theory and the anger index theory Introduction,development,maturity and recession,select the frequency,exhibition resources,exhibition scale,reception facilities,organizational units,media attention and official website services seven indicators to determine the China-ASEAN Expo is in the government-led exhibition Life cycle of the development stage,the Canton Fair has entered a mature stage.On this basis,the author uses literature research and questionnaire survey to study the social impact of the government-led exhibition on the city in different life cycle stages.It is found that the social impact of the government-led exhibition on the city is social life,Social and cultural and social environment and many other aspects,both positive and negative impact.The perception of the positive social impact of Nanning residents on China-ASEAN Expo is obviously greater than that of Guangzhou residents,while the perception of the negative social impact of Guangzhou residents is stronger than that of Nanning residents on China-ASEAN Expo.Based on the background information of the second part of the questionnaire,it is summarized as the demographic characteristics,the degree of participation and the degree of community attachment.The correlation analysis shows that the perception of Nanning residents is very small,Guangzhou residents of the perception of the impact is very large.Finally,the paper puts forward the development countermeasures from the two aspects of enlarging the positive impact of the exhibition and reducing the negative impact on the common problems caused by the increase of the traffic pressure caused by the China-ASEAN Expo and the Canton Fair and the increase of the cost of living.
