The rapid development of the national economy, the competition for talent to become the premise of the major enterprise competition. Thus, the effective training of employees is one of the most effective competitions for the promotion of talent competition.. In the last few years, the structure of rural credit cooperatives in Gansu province is optimized, but compared with other commercial banks, the rural credit cooperatives still exist professional personnel, management personnel shortage. To further strengthen the cultivation of compound talents, Gansu Province rural credit cooperatives reform to the required, should construct the model, in line with the requirements of the times, with competition of staff training system, strengthening employee training, the majority of the staff based on the modern commercial bank operation and management philosophy.This paper first analyzes the definition of the concept of competency, explains the research on competency in China; this paper expounds the general situation of the development of rural credit cooperatives in Gansu Province, analyzes the status quo of the quality of credit staff; pointed out that the reason for the training effects of rural credit cooperatives in Gansu Province in recent years and the training problem; according to the core competence force, professional competency, competency, competency of service operations, sales, marketing staff competency in five aspects of rural credit cooperatives in Gansu province were analyzed for competence, comprehensive teller, reviewer, director of the branch, branch, branch lobby manager director, director of the credit agency, financial planner, reserve cadres eight jobs to build a training path, and the upgrade and management training routes was built; finally the establishment of rural credit cooperatives in Gansu province lecturer training system to determine the standard, put forward relevant suggestions.
