On The Evolving Process And Its Perfection Of China’s Economic System

In the era of the founding of New China, materials were scarce and industrial bases were weak. Influenced by Soviet economic system, China implemented the national planned economic system of socialism. Nevertheless, during the time of resuming production quickly, the planned economic system still exist some inner deficiencies which cannot adjust to the future economic development well.Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, our country has begun the economic system reform. In order to adapt to the basic national conditions of socialism faster and make up for the deficiencies of economic development, our national system began to shift from planned economy to market economy. With the further reform, the 18th CPC National Congress and the Third Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee point out "to deepen reform of the economic system, to improve construction of the socialist market economy constantly, to build a strong socialist country with Chinese characteristics".Thus, that shows exploring the process of the traditional planned economy transferring to market economy has strong theoretical base and practical significance. (1)Throughout the systematic summary towards the reforming process, we can now clearly grasp the comprehensiveness and the twists of our modern economic development, and understand the evolvement rule of the socialist economic development. (2) Meanwhile, with analysis and comparison, we should make use of the correct parts of the planed economy and overcome the faulty parts, absorbing the essence and discarding the dross. By combining the reasonable ingredients of the planed economy with the market economy, the national socialist market economic system would be mended gradually. This paper will do analysis on the evolved process of national economic system comprehensively, combining with the current situation of economic development, to attempt some reasonable suggestions to improve the system of socialist market economy.The paper is mainly divided into five parts to discuss the evolving process of our national economic system and make the system improved. First, the part of introduction tells the evolving background, contents, historic significance, the related concept and some reviews towards national economic reform at home and abroad. Second, the part introduces the basic contents, achievements and weakness of the traditional planned economic system. Third, this part refers to the economic system reform, under the condition of economic reform. Fourth, this paper discusses how to deepen and improve the system of socialist market economy, putting forward the four points of strength to make economic system better. Fifth, the ending part shows outlook of future economic trend, and summarizes this thesis.
