Achieving The Transformation And Upgrading Of Industrial Clusters Of Gansu Province Under The Characteristic Of Path Dependence

Industrial cluster is not only a country or a region the inevitable phenomenon in the process of economic development, and plays an very important role in regional economic development.With the developing and changing of economy, industry cluster objectively need transformation and upgrade. As a concrete expression of the development level of regional economy, The formation and development of industrial not only was closely related to economic structure and specific resources endowment, and its development will show different degree of path dependence and lock in effect. Industry of Gansu province mainly depends on the natural resources, the development of its industry cluster are was the typical resources industry.So, the industrial cluster had obvious characteristics of path dependence, it was easy to form the lock-in effect.In this paper, in order to achieve the economic transformation and upgrade in Gansu province as the background and the guidance, Firstly, we talked about the transformation and upgrading of industrial clusters under the path dependence. Secondly, Through collecting and calculating relevant data about Gansu province, Summarize and grasp the history and current situation of industrial cluster development in Gansu province, and then Summarize the characteristics of the industry cluster development in Gansu province;Thirdly, we measure agglomeration degree of Gansu province in using Location entropy index, the results show that the industrial clusters of Gansu province was mainly composed of petrochemical industry, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, coal, electric power, equipment manufacturing industries.According to the formation and the specific characteristics of industrial cluster of Gansu province, The transformation and upgrading are faced with the problem were:industrial cluster structure was rigidity and ability to cope with risk was low; Cluster was lack of innovation and the spread of knowledge, information and communication was limited;Infrastructure was relatively backward, the development of related services industry was lagged behind;The thought, culture and system was lack and lagged.On this basis, from transformation and upgrade of old industrial clusters, taking over the industrial transfer and the cultivation of new industries. this paper putting forward a new path how to achieve transformation and upgrade of industrial cluster in Gansu province under the path dependence, and proposed the corresponding proposals.
