As the need of construction land is incresing with the expansion of cities, the imbalance between supply and demand becomes an outstanding problem. As we know, in China, only the land used by schools, hospitals and academic organizations is allocated by the government, while the right of land use for business, housing construction and industry is usually gained through bid invitation, auction, listing and so on. Under this competitive mechanism, top bidders arose one after another in the county wide. As the land-pursuing cost increased, the price of house and the rent in business district, especially in some big cities, was much beyond the local level of consumption. At present, the process of urbanization in the first-tier cities and most of provincial capital level cities is entering a comparatively mature stage, and the researches on the intensive land use of big cities are also going well-round, but the related researches on the towns are quite few. As towns work as a booster in the process of urbanization, it is significant for us to find out the relation between the reasonable(or equitable) price and intensive land use in towns. This is the aim and focus of the paper. The paper chose Guanghan City in Sichuan Province as the object of study, gathered data from files, analyzed the relation between land price and intensive land use mainly by three steps: Firstly, it chose the studied area and divided them into business, residence and industry areas according to their function. And based on the guide price of land in Guanghan 2012, it corrected the geographical influence, floor area ratio and other specific factors to calculate the prices of business area, residence area and industry area separately. Secondly, it fixed the standard to assess the intensive land use in the studied 3 business area, 110 residence area and 50 industry area and thought the outcome and standard, they were divided into 4 types, namely, excessive use, intensive use, moderate use and low use. Finally, with the help of SPSS, it built up the regression analysis from the qualitative and quantitative respects, discussing the relation between intensive land use and land prices under the different level and different function.Separately standardized the land prices of business area, residence and industry area with value of intensity, and conduct qualitative analysis to overall find out the relation between land price and intensive land use. Conducted regression analysis on the land prices and intensity of land use and with the help of the SPSS worked out the standardized-residual normal probability plot to check their residual normality and study their fitting degree. Draw the following conclusion:1. It turned out that the land price shared the same tendency with the changing of intensive land use, that is, the higher the price, the more intensive the land used, and vice verse.2. Generally,Guanghan commercial land intensive utilization of land price and the degree of overall were positively correlated. The analysis showed that the residence land that price were at 2nd and 3rd level displayed a high degree of fitting while the residence land at 1st and 4th level much low. And the industry land of 2nd level was higher than the 1st one both in the fitting degree of land price and intensive use and in the sensitivity.3. Through analyzing Guanghan land price and the intensive utilization degree study concluded that small towns land intensive utilization degree of basic were positively related, land price, the higher the degree of intensive utilization...
