Research On Construction Of Supervision Platform For Online Merchandise

With the rapid development of network technology, electronic commerce has become one of the indispensable part of our daily life. Now, China has overtook the US to become the world’s largest online shopping market, but in this process, subject to the restraint of information asymmetry contradictions, the quality of the online merchandise have become increasingly prominent, and become the crucial factors to restrict the development of the online shopping market. In the forseeable future, online shopping will continue its rapid development momentum, and occupy an increasingly important position in the total social retail goods, so how to solve the quality problems of online merchandise become the matter that admits of no delay.On the other hand, the Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision didn’t play its due role in the process of supervision of online merchandise. Although this including historical and technical reasons, but it is undeniable that with the gradual deepening the reform of administrative institutions and the market opening, this kind of supervision can not fully adapted to the needs of the market, and to a certain extent, has become a bottleneck restricting in its sustainable development, so the exploration of suitable mode for online shopping supervision has become urgent.The purpose of this research is to build a supervision platform for online merchandise to guarantee and improve the quality of the merchandise in online shopping, which consists by the organization code, the barcode, the product standards and other database, and act on the online merchandise’s pre-sale review, online-sale supervision, and after-sale tracking. Meanwhile, the platform will also explore the third-part cooperation mechanism of the government supervision department, quality inspection technical institutions and online shopping platform operators, and put forward the corresponding improvement suggestions to the existing policies, regulations and supervision mode, so as to enhance both the supervision ability of supervision institution and the online shopping environment in China.
