From joining the WTO, our country has a growing demand of coal. Driven by profit, the production over ability is common in coal mines. This condition not only brings a series of security issues, but also results in tax evasion in the coal company. Based on application of remote coal production and sales monitoring system from Shandong Province Coal Authority, this paper design embedded Ethernet control terminal, the terminal can obtain real-time coal production and sales and uploaded to the Coal Board management center, so the management can control the condition of production over ability.Firstly, this paper analyzes application requirements of Ethernet control terminal, and chooses STM32F107 as embedded MCU, LwIP as embedded TCP/IP protocol stack, FreeRTOS as a real-time operating system. Secondly, this paper designs specific hardware and software, hardware design includes:low-voltage power supply system, control circuit, communication interface, anti-jamming circuit. In software part, it builds software platform, including the real-time operating system FreeRTOS transplant, Ethernet communication driver program transplant, RTC driver design and so on, then depending on the project needs, this paper completes sales data on the operating system platform acquisition, Ethernet communication, U disk read and write, interactive and exception alerts. At last, it tests the control terminal to further validate the design feasibility, what’s more, according to the actual operation in field, this paper improves Ethernet communication task, weighing data filtering algorithms and cars transport direction determining algorithm.As a typical application in IOT, this paper applies embedded Ethernet technology to monitor coal production and sales, which could get information more accurate and complete. It follows up the development requirement of the information age and is a meaningful research.
