Study On Integrity Mechanism Of Food Enterprise With Perspective Of Business Governance Theory

"Hunger breeds discontentment", the food industry is closely related to the quality of people’s lives and health. As one industry category of the national product industry, the food industry provides the largest accumulation for our country, absorbs the labor employment of urban and rural areas, and has the most dependence on agricultural and the strong relationship with other related industries. However, in recent years due to the problem of management concept and management problems and market and government supervision problems, food safety accidents and food crisis occur frequently. These accidents and incidents caused the decrease of enterprise management benefit, damage of enterprise image, and business failures in micro-level, badly hurt consumer confidence,leading to the lack of trust in food market and society, in turn, affect the nation’s basic safety and credibility in macro-level, the most profound is jeopardizing the safety of consumers’ life and forming a social problem.Why food safety incidents are not stopped though occur frequently? Why do people still take the risk of public safety and trust for the pursuit of interests? What is the role of rules elements as external binding to integrity behavior of food enterprises? How to play the role? What is the role of moral accomplishment and cultural concept as internal binding to "human" faith behavior in food enterprises? Also how to play the role? How the internal and external binding influence the formation of integrity mechanism of food enterprises and play its role? These questions will be answered in this paper.This paper explores the construction of food enterprise integrity mechanism based onthe governance theory of Oriental Management as the framework. As the core philosophy of governance theory, "Honesty, credit, righteousness, benevolence" ethics thought comprehensively and systematically reflect the integrity requirements of the enterprise.Firstly, this paper reviews the connotation of integrity, enterprise integrity and food enterprise integrity, definite the connotation of integrity in this paper based on the comparison of eastern and Western connotation of integrity, generally analyze the particularity and characteristics that provide irreplaceable necessities, current situation of food industry that highly developed, the performance of the faithless that adulterated, fake and shoddy, expired food for sale and so on, and analyze the internal and external reasons for the lacking of integrity. Secondly, analyze the dominant and recessive operation forms of enterprise integrity mechanism based on Eastern and Western management thoughts and governance theory, point out the internal binding(recessive) and external binding(dominant) elements and its specific content through questionnaire and Factor Analysis.Finally, with the guidance of internal and external binding build the integrity mechanism of food enterprises using "honesty, faith, righteousness, benevolence" as the main framework from people、 enterprise and society levels.This paper enriches the theoretical and empirical study of Oriental Management,through industry analysis, promotes the development of Oriental management theory and practice. At the same time, provide the pattern and the method of systematic integrity mechanism establishment for the food enterprises, but also provide new ideas for the government to implement supervision on food enterprises, to perfect supervision mechanism and market mechanism.
