Comparative Study Of The Technological Innovation Ability Of Pharmaceutical Private Enterprises In China

Pharmaceutical manufacturing, as one of the high-tech industry, technological innovation is the source of its life and driving force of corporate profits. However, pharmaceutical manufacturing in our country is still in thestage of development with scarce R & D funding and R & D personnel. In addition, low innovation efficiency and poor innovation ability has become a major bottleneck restricting the development of China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing. It has become an important topic which need to be studied for modern pharmaceutical manufacturing about how to make the transition from the largest producer of pharmaceutical manufacturing to a pharmaceutical manufacturing technology powerhouse with technological innovation as the basis. Private pharmaceutical enterprises, as a new force to promote the development of China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, plays a more and more important role in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. However, the technological innovation ability of private pharmaceutical enterprises is deficient, especially, the ability to develop new drug is weak, and new drug products are insufficient and with low-tech quality. All of these disadvantages seriously affect the long-term economic development of the private pharmaceutical enterprises. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a comparative study on the technological innovation capability of China’s private pharmaceutical enterprises, so as to improve the technological innovation capability of China’s private pharmaceutical enterprises and may exert profound influence on the Pharmaceutical Industry and even economy in China.This study, based on the latest research results from domestic and foreign technology innovation theories and methodology, combining with the characteristics of pharmaceutical manufacturing technology innovation, intends to build an evaluation index system to evaluate and compare the innovation ability for China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The present study will employ the method of factor analysis to make a comprehensive comparative evaluation of the technological innovation ability and explore the reasons to explain the comparison results. Finally, the present research will propose explicit and specific suggestions and countermeares, aiming to provide reference for the development of private pharmaceutical enterprises.
