Exploration Of New Urbanization Patterns Surrounding Metropolitan Area

The report of the 18th CPC National Congress points out that China’s urbanization should adopt the road of urbanization with Chinese characteristics and focus on improving the quality of urbanization. In addition, we should increase the intensity of urban and rural harmonious in the process of urbanization and promote the common prosperity of urban and rural areas. At present, our metropolis is suffering very serious "urban disease", urban and rural development is uncoordinated and the urbanization is not of high quality. The periphery of metropolis is the transitional zone between urban and rural areas. Urbanization in this region cannot focus solely on integrating urban and rural development, narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas, but also on resolving problems caused by urban disease. Therefore, we should explore a suitable new model of urbanization surrounding metropolitan area, to improve the quality of urbanization and the level of urban-rural integration. In this way, Urban and rural residents can share modern urban civilization, and ultimately to achieve sustainable development of urbanization.This thesis takes the construction of urbanization surrounding cities as the research object, through the analysis of current problems that exist in cities urbanization, the author pointed out the unsustainability of the current urbanization model. On the basis of major domestic and overseas experience in building models of urbanization, the author builds a new model of urbanization. Firstly, the author elaborated the related researches, concepts and theories. Secondly, through the analysis of current problems exist in cities urbanization, pointed out that the current model is not sustainable urbanization, and thus, cities surrounding urbanization desperately needs to change. Once again, the author analyzed the development model of urbanization of representative areas both at home and abroad, and summarizing their experience and lessons, this entire can provided a reference to the construction of the new urbanization. Finally, on the consideration of the special nature of the city surrounding areas, the author proposed a new urban-rural relationship according to the particularity of the surrounding cities. As this premise, through "six integration" (Infrastructure integration, integration of public services, the integration of urban and rural planning, industrial layout integration, factor market integration, the integration of the ecological environment)construction, to eliminate barriers the development of urbanization On this basis, constructed a new model of urbanization which achieves "three changes"(Changes in agriculture to leisure agriculture, Industrial transformation from scattered to concentrate, Farmers into public).Also, the author provide several relevant measures to safeguard the new urbanization models’smooth implement.
