How To Push Forward The New Type Urbanization Of Villages In Zhuhai

In this article, we chose a model happy village in Zhuhai, the Nanao village, as an example to develop a study on how to push forward the new type urbanization of villages in Zhuhai, and we look forward to find possible solutions through analysis on all kinds of problems.We had done lots of work on reading documents and interviews with officials and villagers, then we linked public management theory with the practices, so as to we could take advantage of textual analysis as well as field study, in order to drawing lessons from what had been done for the founding of a happy village and new type urbanization in the village of Zhuhai, so, at last we have some proposals for next steps as below:Working hard on characteristic industry and developing the local characteristic industrial clusters; Combining overall layout with local conditions in global view; having the courage to reform and improve rural human settlement; constructing a performance management and accountability system.We draw conclusions from our study:the founding of a happy village will push forward the new type urbanization of villages in Zhuhai, and constitute a useful exploring in the way of local government to put forward the new type urbanization, and also can be used for reference by other cities. However, there are some distinct problems being found in the founding of a happy village. For example, the lower overall economic level, regional development out of balance, disabilities of government in promote scientific development, deficiency in elaborating management and urban-rural dual policy system, which are all barriers to realize the urbanization of villages. So local governments should have the courage to explore how to improve the level of city management, and pay more attention to overall preliminary plan and latter performance, so as to put forward the scientific founding of happy villages and the new type urbanization.
