Study On The Supplier Management In Bidding Process Of Xigu Ⅲ Project

The supplier management is one of the focuses of today’s global management research and the main concerns for the practice. How to do the supplier selection and management is still controversial in related academic circles and practice fields. Undeniable, procurement is the beginning of all project production, is the starting point of all business activities. And the selection and management of supplier is just a vital link in the process of procurement. Scientific and reasonable selection and management of supplier, not only helps to reduce buying costs, improve purchasing efficiency, but also be conducive to protecting their own interests and realizing the social value, through assure products quality and achieve the overall objective of the project quality control.In this paper, on the theoretical basis of the extensive reading of relevant domestic and foreign literature and reference, it truthfully expounded the project background and the management situation of XIGU III Project, analyzed the existing problems in the process of supplier management in the project from the outer layer to the inner, and the internal and external influence factors of the supplier management; On the basis of the foregoing analysis, it analyzed and selected supplier management direction by SWOT method, specified management objectives and established supplier evaluation system according to the project development needs.; It shows the evaluation criteria and methods of supplier selection through the establishment of supplier evaluation system; Then it groomed the implementation process of the supplier evaluation system, drawed the flow chart and established the bidding management matrix; it extracted the main compiling points of bidding documents and the contract control points with the supplier during the system implementation process. And finally, combined with the concrete case, it described the specific application of the supplier selection and management methods in practice, in order to create the pathway for the concrete implementation. This thesis has practical significance not only for XIGU III Project, but also for the project management of the same scale similar to project, especially provides the reference methods to the supplier selection and management in the bidding process. Selection and management of supplier has positive and profound significance, it can control the project cost well under the premise of guaranteeing the project quality.
