Research Of XCC Cement Company Logistics Management Mode

Cement industry is the backbone of the country, that related to people’s livelihood and affect the entire national economy. The low level of logistics modernization, inefficiencies and function is imperfect, that can’t adapt to needs of economic development. Cement enterprises with foreign cement enterprises, there are still many problems to be solved in the scale, efficiency, management and logistics technology etc. In recent years, more and more attention began to study the logistics in cement companies, and the introduction of supply chain management thoughts, in order to fully exploit "the third profit source"This paper analyzes the XCC cement company internal and external environment, the current situation of supply logistics management model, which based on current situation of China’s cement industry. This paper analyzes the problems in XCC cement companies such as procurement for a long time, purchase quantity is not accuracy, low degree of cooperation with suppliers, inventory management unscientific, inventories higher, from purchasing, inventory, supplier management etc. This article use of supply logistics management theory, combined with practical conduct combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis. This paper proposes comments and suggestions to improve on the supply logistics management mode front in XCC cement company, such as Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) screening quality suppliers and establish long-term cooperative relationship, economic order quantity (EOQ) model was used to calculate the XCC cement company purchases raw materials and purchasing frequency, inventory ABC classification methods are used for inventory costs classification calculation and inventory control in XCC cement company. These recommendations are fully prepared for enterprises to achieve integrated supply logistics mode.From a long-term perspective, great significance to establishing a complete supply logistics management mode in development of cement enterprise, that is reduce operating costs and win more profits of cement companies.
