With the development of auto industry, the competition among each OEM’s actually is the development, use and control ability of their sub-suppliers resources. As for the auto parts company, how to make sure the smoothly development of the new parts, insure to satisfy customers’requirements regarding timing, quality and cost thus to win in the serious competition, is a very important question face to auto parts suppliers.Most of the Foreign Auto suppliers already brought new project management knowledge long time ago, and combine the auto industry rules to do the new product development, so that they already have some mature spec, but most of the Chinese auto suppliers do not have their own project management spec, which made themselves already left behind in the beginning of the new product development phase.E company established in Italy in 1972, which is a company focus on ignition coil R&D and production for auto engine. E Company established its plant in China in 2011, with the development of Chinese Auto industry, E company has received more and more new projects in China, but due to lack of the suitable project management spec, some projects were delayed and some got customer complain etc. So E company urgently need one customized project management spec to enhance the marketing competitive.This article combine auto industry new product development spec APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and set a suitable project management spec for E company E Advanced Products Quality Planning (hereafter short for EAPQP), which aims to give a guide for E company and other similar Auto industry company.First this article analysis the industry environment of global auto and parts industry, and summarize the status of E company and the issues of E company in terms of new project management. Then, this article specify the process of auto & parts industry new project development, APQP, company E come up with its own spec of EAPQP, how to act better project management in E company in terms of timing, quality and cost after applying EAPQP. In order for a smooth execution of EAPQP, E company established some policy. In the last to specify a project EA211 which applied EAPQP to manage.
