Application And Research Of APQP In Project Development Of Cradle Assembly

In recent years, the rapid development of China’s automobile industry, the automobile production and sales increased steadily, for further expansion of auto parts provides wide space. However, the car is a very complex products, how to effectively guarantee the quality of each car parts, and the auxiliary frame assembly is an important component for driving safety, thus to the production of auto parts industry demanded a higher aspect; in addition, customers on the vehicle safety, performance and appearance have better expectations, so that the auto update frequency becomes more and more quickly, the development cycle of automotive products has become increasingly short, the auto parts industry will face more and more requirements.Since the late 1980 s, GM, SVW, FORD entered the Chinese market, APQP was widely used in automotive parts manufacturing enterprises as a tool of research and development of new products. But due to the late start and excessive growth, the supervisor method of project management become a mere formality, especially in large state-owned enterprises, the method of project management are outdated and conservative. But the method of Advanced product quality planning keep improving continuously, now the biggest problem of domestic automotive enterprises are, how to apply these supervisor method of project management in the enterprises.This paper gives emphasis to study how to utilize the knowledge of project management and advanced product quality planning for remolding the project development process with the goal of implying the project management more deeply in the domestic enterprises. During the study, several research methods like comparative analysis are used to introduce the application of advanced product planning in SHAC, and study the project development process step by step. The problems of current project development process of cradle products in SHAC are represented, and analysis the causes of these problem and its negative effects. Remolding the project development process with the method of APQP, FMEA, Gantt Chart, responsibility assignment matrix and so on, and after that evaluate the effect of remolding.Though the analysis and study of this paper, the goal of this study has been achieved, the APQP process of cradle product in SHAC has been improved, and the organization structure of SHAC has been optimized, the efficiency of operation and capacity of planning also has a significant increase. It’s proved practically that APQP is indispensable project management method of automotive components manufacturing enterprises.
