Application Of Project Quality Management In Auto Parts Development

The scale of China's auto parts industry expanded rapidly in recent years. The development mode of new products was changing more and more different. The old mode was designing only on production process according to drawings; the new mode is synchronous designing on product and process with the customer in earlier stage. Quality management in new product development project of auto parts is taken for study in this article. Appropriate method and tools are used for analysis and discussion according to plan quality, perform quality assurance and perform quality control. It's very meaningful to make research of how to enhancing project quality management ability to face the competition.In plan quality, a suitable organization structure is very important for project quality management. Quality function deployment (QFD) is used to recognize the voice of customer, which is important for synchronous designing project. Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) is used to prevent the quality risk in product and process design, which can recognize the defects maximally in early stage and take preventive measures in time.In perform quality assurance and control, project process control procedure and gateway audits are used to define the stages of project clearly, which fully guarantee the project process quality. Statistical process control (SPC) is used to control the product quality, which can find the abnormal tendency easily and help to take countermeasures in time. The results showed that, the systematical introduction of project quality management in product development process can improve product development quality effectively and promote customer satisfaction at the same time.
