Settlement Business Process Reengineering For Commercial Bank

With the development of the international financial markets, commercial banks confront an increasingly competitive circumstance. It is much difficult to survive than ever for Commercial banks running with the traditional business model, due to the increasingly high demand of services. In order to win the advantage in the competition, commercial Banks have turned their attention to the Business Process Reengineering. At present, the Applications of the theory of BPR to commercial banks turn out better outcome than before.In recent years, a lot of domestic and foreign enterprises are implementing business process reengineering in order to maximize the appreciation of the process, minimize the cost, and greatly improve their performance. As the end of the protection period of accession to the WTO of our country, the domestic banks’ competition will be aggravated further, the bank implements BPR urgently.In this paper, a commercial bank in Shandong province to a specific case study, through analyzing the status quo of the existing settlement business, found that there were problems, and in view of the problems found in the corresponding solution measures are put forward. Paper first of all, this thesis research background and significance of the introduction, the satire thesis research framework. Then, some commercial Banks in Shandong for this article studies the specific case, and expounds the basic situation of the bank and its existing business processes, analyses the existing problems of the business process. Finally, in view of the bank in the case of the existing main problems, and puts forward business reengineering based on the characteristics of the existing bank strategy.
