Study On Development Of For Tourism In Bazhong City Based On Theory Of Non-optimal Tourism District

Tourism, as a sunrise industry, its contribution to the national economy is increasingly prominent. With the arrival of the era of mass tourism, the tourism demand has expanded rapidly, while the number of superior tourist areas is limited, which can not meet the needs of tourism development. Meanwhile, when the traditional tourism products begin to make people bored, as the best carrier of the leisure-tourism products, the forest tourism has immeasurable potential for developing. At present, many scholars have done lots of researches on the development of non-optimal tourism district and forest tourism, but the researches on the exploitation of the forest tourism of non-optimal tourism district are few involved, which results in the shortage of theoretical basis and reference samples for the development of those non-optimal tourism districts with rich forest tourism resources. Depending on comprehensive analysis, and combining with the theory of non-optimal tourism district, this thesis tries to explore new ways for forest tourism development.On the research methods, the paper uses literature analysis, site visits, statistical analysis and SWOT analysis. On the research content and results, firstly, this paper introduces the research background, the significance and generally reviews the concept of non-optimal tourism district and forest tourism at home and abroad. Besides, it also proposes the research ideas, methods and routes. Secondly, it discusses the concept of non-optimal tourism district and forest tourism, and analyzes the relevant theories. Thirdly, it focuses on the basis of defining the non-optimal tourism district, and discusses its characteristics and the development modes. Next, the paper compares Bazhong City to other 20 cities(states) of Sichuan Province, and counts the five indexes of a non-optimal tourism district which include resources, economy, transportation, marketing and cognition, and divides the 21 cities(states) of Sichuan into the three basic types: superior tourist area, normal area tourism, and non-optimal tourism district by factor analysis and hierarchical clustering. And it defines Bazhong as a non-optimal tourism district. Then, when analyzes the demonstrations of how to develop the forest tourism of the non-optimal tourism districts, basing on the non-optimal tourism district and its related theories, combining with the actual situation of Bazhong, the paper carries out SWOT analysis of its forest tourism development, and trues to explore suitable development mode, development strategy and products development system for the forest tourism of Bazhong. Finally, in the last part, the research findings are summarized; the insufficient on the research and innovation is presented; and the direction for further research is defined.
