The Influence Of Institutional Distance On Technological Innovation Performance Of China’s Multi-National Corporation

Multi-National Corporation has been played a decisive role in China’s economic entities, and improving the performance of technology innovation is the most important way to enhance the international competitiveness of China’s Multi-National Corporation. Learning more about major factors affecting technology innovation is actually important to improve the performance of technological innovation in China’s Multi-National Corporation. Based on the study of factors affecting Multi-National operating status and technological innovation performance, this paper mainly studies the important factor institutional distance influence on technological innovation performance of China’s Multi-National Corporation.The paper selects the 2014 China top 100 Multi-National Corporation as research sample, and find out their relevant host country on websites of the Multi-National Corporation. The evaluation index system of distance is established base on the other scholars’ research achievement, and it divides China’s 100 largest Multi-National Corporation into three categories by using the clustering method. The first kind nations was presenting positive distance with Chinese regime; second kind was the most close to Chinese regime, the last kind was negative distance with Chinese regime. Meanwhile, according to output and process performance two levels, it designs a kind of index system to evaluate technological innovation performance. It adopt the AHP method to assign weight for draws a conclusion by calculating the performance of technological innovation of Multi-National Corporation in China on the basis of fuzzy mathematics comprehensive evaluation method.Aaccording to empirical research the Multi-National Corporation in China, the paper puts forward some policy suggestions from nation and enterprise levels. The former present some national policy to be improved, such as the establishment of technical innovation system, innovation of legal protection,a culture of innovation system and the service function of the government, the most important is reducing the constraints on the system of our country state-owned Multi-National enterprises. The later proposes to choosing the correct strategy of transnational business culture, internal technological innovation, and improves the internal management system and suggestions.
