The healthy land ecosystems become an important factor in protecting the regional ecological security. Conducting the research for early warning of regional land ecological security and analysis of land ecological security alarm conditions is the real need to promote the construction of ecological civilization, which is also the theoretical need to further improve study of land ecological security. Therefore, taking Yaodu District of Linfen City in Shanxi Province as the research area and based on related theory of the land ecological security, this paper carried out an early warning of regional land ecological security by using catastrophe progression method(CPM) and radial basis function neural network model(RBF).This paper includes the following contents:(1) The paper clarified the starting point of this study by reviewing the relevant research about early warning of regional land ecological security early warning and discussing the emphases of different research methods and technology.(2) The situations of land ecological security in research area were analyzed, and the facing forms of land ecological security were pointed out.(3) Analyzing the characteristics of “Pressure-State-Response”(PSR) framework model and “Nature-Economic-Social”(NES) framework model, the land ecological security warning index system was constructed based on framework model PSR-NES.(4) The common catastrophe models were introduced to create analysis model of warning situation of land ecological security, the paper used catastrophe progression method to analyze warning situation changes of land ecological security in research area.(5) The software of Matlab was adopted to call radial basis function, RBF neural network was used to forecast the evolution trend of warning situation of land ecological security.The paper reached the following conclusions by studying the above content:(1) This Paper showed that economic and social factors are the main factors contributing to the dynamic evolution of regional land ecological security.(2) The land ecological security warning index system based on framework model PSR-NES was comprehensive and targeted, which made a contribution to determining the true state of regional land ecological security and discovering problems of land ecological security in the evolution.(3) The research reflected that meaning of catastrophe progression method was more clear, which was easy to operate and could reduce the impact of human subjectivity in the process of early warning. It was a good attempt for catastrophe progression method applied to the study on early warning of regional land ecological security.(4) RBF neural network had a relatively high simulation accuracy, which could effectively forecast the evolution trend of warning situation of land ecological security.(5) The paper constructed the model of CPM-RBF for early warning of land ecological security, and the whole progress was logical and clear thinking.The innovations of this paper are introducing catastrophe theory to the study on early warning of regional land ecological security, using catastrophe progression method to analyze warning situation changes and adopting RBF neural network to forecast the evolution trend of warning situation. However, there are some shortages to be desired, warning indicator system to be further optimized and grading standards of grading standards need to be further explored need to be further explored, which are needed to be further improved. The paper provides a new way of thinking for early warning of regional land ecological security.
