Since January 2010 to November 2010, less than a year’s time, there had 14 jumping events took place in Foxconn. It even aroused global attention. In recent years, such as employees’ jumping off a building, violence disputes about labor and other tragedy repeatedly staged in workplace. Not given proper care and respect, employees couldn’t feel any of the people-oriented management philosophy and corporate culture, which we have to say is a big mistake in business management. Now many companies put too much emphasis on efficiency, resulting in disregard of human nature. Everything is things-oriented and results-oriented, resulting in high efficiency and high performance. But for employees who offer almost all their time and energy to job, what they feel is lower satisfaction and happiness. The 2015 Government’s Work Report notes that improving people’s life and welfare is the government’s permanent commitment. Now government and the public are both call attention to peoples’ psychological health in workplace. Many corporate managers are currently not fully aware of the importance of mental maintenance. There is no establishment of relevant institutions and mechanisms for mental health service in enterprise. Limited by their level of knowledge and ability, once employees have psychological problems, they don’t know how to relieve it. Without good external counseling, the problems will be increasingly serious and may further lead to extreme behavior, like suicide, self-mutilation, and social revenge. To study employees’mental health and target for mental maintenance, helping employees remove the burden, make them happy for work and life, the enterprise should not shirk its responsibility, which is extremely significant.Based on empirical research, this paper will analyze the impact of mental maintenance of enterprise human capital on non-financial performance. It includes six chapters:introduction, related theories, construction of index system, research design, data analysis, conclusion and discussion. This paper mainly uses Spss19.0 statistical analysis software for data samples’ descriptive statistics, reliability and validity test, correlation and regression analysis, as well as the intermediary and adjusting effects test.Through the theoretical and empirical research, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) The mental maintenance of enterprise human capital and non-financial performance is positively correlated, but the significance of the four dimensions of mental maintenance varies. (2) Mental maintenance of enterprise human capital has a positive impact on non-financial performance, in which self-efficacy and psychological capital partly play a intermediary role, while emotional commitment and organizational support play a regulatory role. Based on these conclusions, this paper puts forward some appropriate suggestions, hoping to play a guiding role in business management practice.
