In 2012, the average retirement age of the urban population in our country was only 56 years old, however, the average of the population has already 73 years old in 2009.The retirement age is low, causing the waste of human resources in our country. The transition of traditional country own pension system leave a huge empty account to existing system, the pension is very shortfall. In the future, the demand of human resources will increase for the elderly with the transformation of the pattern of economic development and the development of the tertiary industry, at the same time, 16-59 years of working age population is falling, the citizen education years is continuously extending, especially female extension of education attainment, also makes the existing retirement age is already cannot satisfy the reality needs, extend the retirement age has become an inevitable choice.Through the literature search, website, etc., I learned: At present, most of the scholars make a more in-depth research from different perspectives for whether support extend the retirement age and how to extend retirement age, such as the population life expectancy, the competitiveness of enterprises, pension fund balance and the impact on the employment situation, formed a certain structure and made a lot of valuable research results. However, the article which is study for how to extend the retirement age form perspective of values and value orientation to effect extend the retirement age. This paper discusses the value orientation and balance of interests in the field of social security which is based on the comprehensive theoretical analysis of extending the retirement age, drawing on the successful experience and mode of extending the retirement in different countries at home or abroad, make a in-depth analysis of influencing factors on the extension of the retirement age,value orientation and interests balance is to be two aspects. Intends to extend the retirement age by the current status of different populations and demand conditions on the extension of the retirement age of the investigation, and then clear the problems and discuss the solve measures, at last proposal steady extension of the program which to extend the retirement age in small step.Based on the above analysis, this paper is divided into eight parts: the first part, analysis the background, significance, domestic and foreign review and research contents and methods of our country’s extension of retirement; second part, study the relevant concept and content of extending retirement age, discuss and analysis the relevant theories in the field of social security which they are involved; third part, learn from the foreign successful experience in terms of extending the retirement age to analysis the current situation and problems of our country; the fourth part, analysis the restriction and influence of the retirement age form the value orientation and interests balance on the basis of the previous theoretical constraints; the fifth part, investigate each kind of enterprise staff in Shanghai, Shandong, Henan province by using the method of questionnaire, summarize the object of study and research results, make a more comprehensive analysis of the status quo of the retirement age and existing problems; Part VI, build index system of extending the retirement age, make a correlation analysis from income, health status, job type, education level, unit attributes and value judgments, etc., analysis and calculate factors which to extend the retirement age with the method of logistic from the value orientation and the interest balance; Part VII, put forward the principle, the suggestions and measures of extending the retirement age; Part VIII, summarize.
