With the recent customers further competition in the mobile phone market and the problems of high rely on agents. China Unicom Shanghai branch requires new demands in channel management which called direct sales channel management. To meet this demands, the information department of the Company self-developed a new set called"Esales Port" which contains "3G wireless communications, APN secure access, scene to write sim card, Union Pay payment, thermal printing, credentials recognition, color touch screen".However, in the course of the project, due to the problem of demand management, demand communication which makes fuzzy demand, and the scope is unclear and the demand for design work causes repeated changes. Final the duration is delayed again and again. And the project is delayed.Later combined with the lessons of the early, by using the project management theory and tools, China Unicom Shanghai branch successfully makes the completion of the project construction of the direct sales channel management. The author summaries nearly two years of construction experience of the project, and uses the theoretical knowledge of project management, makes a detailed analysis on the key issues of the project. The author also uses reasonable methods and project management to analysis the key point of the project and proposes program envisages. On the basis of the envisaged, the author also gives improvement in communication links, demands management, staff organizational structure. After effects test session also proves that these programs are effective and makes the project finish in time.Finally, the article elaborates the practical application and economic benefits of the project. The author gives a summary of the article, and the results achieved in this article, points out shortcomings and improved direction.
