A famous managerialist Peter M.Senge(1998) in his book “The Fifth Discipline”, introducing the concept of “mental model” in the field of management, and provides management with a new research perspective. Peter Senge understand mental models as, "in people’s minds’ simplified assumptions, is’ conceptual assumptions and stereotypes and impression", and there is also observe things and take action accordingly.Then, in the field of management, more and more scholars begin to pay close attention to mental model research, also emerged many considerable theoretical and practical value of research results. Therefore, based on thorough examination and extensive reference about mental models on the basis of research achievements at home and abroad, puts forward the concept of enterprise managers growth mental models, namely the managers based on their past experiences, habits, knowledge, accomplishment and value idea and form of accumulating cognitive structure, altruistic behavior intention and comprehensive type flexible way of thinking. This concept emphasizes the mental models own self development and perfection, is a dynamic concept model.Next, this study based on the theory of enterprise managers growth mental model, using the empirical study method to examine the enterprise managers growth mental models influence on job performance. In examination enterprise managers growth mental model correlation between each dimension, using simple correlation and partial correlation analysis method; In examination enterprise managers growth mental models influence on job performance, mainly adopt the method of regression analysis. Inspection after a rigorous empirical data, this study suggests that enterprise managers the growth of mental model has significant positive influence on job performance. Among them, from the point of view of task performance, with growth mental models of enterprise managers are more likely to complete the work task. Therefore, high degree of mental models of enterprise management, on the more positive and optimistic attitude toward others, the more happy to help subordinates and colleagues. These will eventually produce a positive role of task performance. From the perspective of relationship between performance, has the growth mental models of enterprise managers have more harmonious interpersonal relationship. As a result, it shows that enterprise managers growth mental models for benign a positive role in improving interpersonal relationship.In addition, the study also shows that the enterprise managers the growth of mental models, flexible way of thinking and cognitive structure of accumulating altruism behavior intention structure of three dimensions is the organic unity of a whole, indispensable, and only when combined together, mutual cooperation, to make the growth mental models maximize utility.Finally, for the purpose of this study and the significance, from the micro perspective, this research mainly is further to explore the structure of enterprise managers growth mental models, influencing factors, mechanism, and accordingly put forward ideas to improve the enterprise performance management itself. From a macro perspective, this study is based on local Chinese enterprise managers on the basis of the reality of the problems existing in the management practice, exploration can not only achieve management efficiency, and can fit the current social economic development of the civilization of the mental model theory. In addition, this paper discusses enterprise managers mental models the influence mechanism of job performance, rich enterprise managers for mental model theory, perfect the management system of mental model theory, guiding enterprise’s management practice, has important theoretical and practical significance.
