Research On The Cost Control Of The South Central Railway Project

Along with our country joining WTO and the deepening reform of economic system in our country, the market competition is more and more fierce. Of course, with the deepening of the market economy, the development momentum of construction industry is quiet quick, and competition consciousness and the ability to adapt to the new market environment have been constantly improving, and the construction enterprises pay more and more attention to cost control, so the cost control level of the engineering project also had the very big enhancement. But, most of the concepts, methods, management systems and so on, which we adopt to control the cost of the project, are not all right, which makes the project cost management face tremendous chal enges and opportunities.In this paper, starting from the South Railway Corridor project, it analyzes the existing problems in the project cost control, and finds the cause of the problem, and does some analysis, and then from this case, leads the problems of the project cost control now, and puts forward some solving measures.This article adopts the method of theory with practice. Firstly, it introduces the composition of the engineering project cost from two aspects, and simply points out the main factors influencing the engineering project cost. Then it introduces the connotation and characteristics of engineering project cost management. Finally, combining Central South Railway project to carry on the empirical analysis, it points out the problems existing in the project cost management, and puts forward some countermeasures, on the basis of analyzing the causes of the problem.In this increasingly competitive market environment, the construction enterprises must effectively control the project cost in order to maintain their competitive position in the market and keep an impregnable position. So in this paper, the research is of great help to the project cost control.
