Evaluation On The Management Risk For Overseas Mining Investment

This thesis comes from the national social science fund project of “evaluation on the operation and management risk for overseas mining investment and study of the early warning system”(project number:12CGL008).The thesis takes the management risk for overseas mining investment as the research object,on the basis of the detailed overview of the research progress at home and abroad of the overseas investment and risk and its evaluation-related methodologies, comprehensive studied with application methods of cloud matter element model, analytic hierarchy process. And applied with a certain project. The main contents and conclusions of the paper are as follows:It reviews the development of overseas investment, and summarizes the theories. Then reviews the theoretical research of risk, and several kind of risk assessment.It identifies the management risk factors for the overseas mining investment, and analyses each factors. Then constructs the risk evaluation index system of the management risk for overseas mining investment, determine the index weight with delphi. Finally, integrates the cloud model based on the matter element, establishes the risk evaluation model of management risk for overseas mining investment.Applying the cloud matter element model for the chromium and ferrochromium project between A iron and steel group and B company in South Africa, the result shows that: financial risk, outside building conditions risk are very low; cross-cultural risk, intangible assets risk,geological resource risk, mining technical conditions risk are low; political and regulatory risk is on average. The risk of this project is very low..
