With the continuous development of our country’s economy and the unceasing improvement of people’s living consumption level, the automobile industry is being developed rapidly in China. Changchun Faway-Johnson Automotive Systems Co. Limited (Changchun Faway-Johnson), as one of the core suppliers of the FAW, ushered a period of rapid development and expansion. The Qingdao Branch Project came into being in that background.The core content of this article aims to build a safety evaluation system for Qingdao Branch Project. The author analyzed related factors that influence the safety evaluation system in the designing system, and then analyzed the factors that may lead to the results, and finally analyzed the related factors; main problems involved in the project to related instructions and finally demonstrated the major hazard sources and significant environmental aspect related to the project. On safety evaluation and safety management related theory, it refers to the four basic principles of safety evaluation, the principle of relevance, analogy principle, the principle of inertia, and the quantitative to qualitative changes in the safety evaluation system. Emphasis is laid on "three stages" of safety evaluation method and the "six stages" of safety evaluation method. We mainly applied Heinrich Rule and Edwards Deming’s PDCA theory through safety management to plan a reliable safety management system. The last part of this article is to summarize the experience and deficiencies of researching safety management of Changchun Faway-Johnson Company Qingdao Branch project, so as to provide experience and improvement strategy for relevant enterprises.This article aims to control the project risks through researching the safety management of Changchun Faway-Johnson Company Qingdao Branch factory, especially apply the safety evaluation and management system to auto parts companies, which provides some worth references on risk analysis, safety evaluation system and project risk countermeasures for other auto parts companies. Because of the limitation of the author’s ability and the case of Qingdao Branch Project, there are still many problems that need to be deeply studied.
