During the process of ecological civilization construction, the development of rural areas gets more and more attention. As a result, sightseeing agricultural ecological parks came into being. But some problems that affect its continuous development appear in the construction phase. These problems not only restrict economic development, but also bring out ecological destruction, environmental pollution and other negative effects. Therefore, it is especially important to evaluate the sustainable development level of sightseeing agricultural ecological parks. The sustainable development of sightseeing agricultural ecological parks refers to the development of resource-saving, environment-friendly, industrial high-efficient and farmers’ income increasing. Main problems related to the sustainability of agro-ecological parks are as follows:some extent of resource destruction, unsustainability of investment in environmental protection, environment problems in and around the park and so on.This paper constructs an evaluation index system for the sustainable development of sightseeing agricultural ecological parks, and takes Yizheng Zaolinwan as an example. Firstly, the non-use value of recreation resources was estimated by using contingent valuation method (CVM for short) to make sure that ecological garden have a high non-use value of recreation resources. Then fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to quantificat the sustainability of Yizheng Zaolinwan agro-ecological parks, and to synthetically evaluate the sustainability before and after the transformation of this area. Our works are as follows:(1) The evaluation index system for the sustainable development of sightseeing agricultural ecological parks.Under the premise of relevant information of agro-ecological parks and theoretical studies of sustainable development indicators, this paper constructs an evaluation index system for the sustainable development of sightseeing agricultural ecological parks. The system contains 1 target,3 criterions,12 factors and 22 indicators.(2)The non-use value of recreation resources in Yizheng Zaolinwan is considerable.On the basis of building the index system,281 valid questionnaires were statistically analyzed by using contingent valuation method (CVM for short). The non-use value of recreation resources in Yizheng Zaolinwan is about 9.984 million yuan. In addition, with the increasing of the visitor, the non-use values of recreation resources will continue to improve. Results show that non-use value of recreation resources in Yizheng Zaolinwan is considerable, which laid the foundation for the analysis of evaluation index system for the sustainable development.(3)The sustainability level of Zaolinwan Ecological Park is continuously growing.This paper comprehensively evaluate the sustainability of Yizheng Zaolinwan from 2004 to 2013. And in the evaluation process, the weight of each evaluation index and the results of comprehensive analysis are defined by using the method of fuzzy mathematics. The results show that the sustainability level of Zaolinwan Ecological Park is continuously growing. Before 2007, the environmental awareness of people there was low, and after 2010, Zaolinwan Ecological Park was on a high sustainability level.Finally, according to the result of comprehensive analysis, we present some recommendations to promote the development of Zaolinwan Ecological Park, such as strengthening monitoring and management of air quality, increasing investment in environmental protection and so on.
