Whether a regional agricultural ecological safety have the direct bearing on whether regional resources, economic, environmental, social and ecological can maintain sustainable development. Carrying out the sustainable development of regional agriculture ecological security evaluation can optimize spatial allocation of resource and has important practical significance for implementing regional agriculture modernization. On the basis of a detailed review of ecological safety at home and abroad, research status quo of agricultural sustainable development and the relationship between ecological safety and agricultural sustainable development. This paper analyzes the current situation of Le Shan agricultural sustainable development from the perspective of natural conditions and social economic condition, then put the indicator system of regional agricultural ecological security and sustainable development of Le Shan into four part:natural resources support subsystem, ecological environment support subsystem, rural social support subsystem and rural economic support subsystem, and at the same time put the four subsystem into twenty five specific indicators. On this basis, using entropy value method and analytic hierarchy process to weighting the data which collecting from year 2009-2013 statistical data of each district and county of Le Shan and the scoring from the expert of statistical bureau and agricultural bureau. Figuring out composite index and the total composite index of natural resources support subsystem, ecological environment support subsystem, rural social support subsystem and rural economic support subsystem. Meanwhile, using the value of the composite index to reflecting sustainable development capacity of each subsystem and total system of Le Shan, and the results showed as follows:(1) In terms of total composite index, the difference between different district and county are significant, and it is divided into three classes. The high value of total composite index of each district and county of Le Shan transition from east to central Region and northeast part, at last to central Region and northwestward; (2) In terms of space change trend of each subsystem, except for comprehensive index of natural resources subsystem agglomerate at the region of Mei Shan, Ebian Yi Nationality Autonomous County and Mabian Yi Nationality Autonomous County which are located in southwest and southern of Le Shan, the comprehensive index of ecological environment support subsystem, rural social support subsystem and rural economic support subsystem present aggregation trend to Sha Wan, Shi Zhongqu, E Meishan these northwest area of Leshan. The regional group development has begun to take shape and the agglomeration effects are also gradually show. On the basis of the study conclusion, we put forward the following proposals for development (1):"Group" agglomeration development experience is worth exploring and using for reference; (2) When emphasize the benefits which "Group" agglomeration development brings, we should pay attention to the overall ecological security of each district and county of Le Shan, beware of all kinds of social problems which caused by the large difference of each district and county.
