Study On Modernization Of Agriculture In Qixingguan District, Guizhou Province

Qixingguan District is seen as the typical agricultural region in Guizhou province, which has good conditions in developing modern agriculture. After years of development, remarkable achievements have been made in the development of modern agriculture, however, the modernization level still maintain at lower level. Thus, further promotions are required to push the development of modern agriculture to a higher level.This paper summarizes the current situation of the development in modern agriculture via In-depth research in Qixingguan District, combined with related literature review. That is:poor agricultural water conservancy facilities, low level of agricultural industrialization, lower knowledge level of farmers, the lag in agricultural products processing, "three-absence" problems and so on. This paper has made the detailed analysis the opportunities and challenges that be faced by Qixingguan District, at the same time, Qixingguan District summarizes the successful experience which is worth learning by studying the practical experience of developing modern agriculture in typical developed agricultural demonstrative zone in Bijie City, such as Hongding Xiandai CO.,LTD.According to in-depth analysis, countermeasures and suggestions has been put forward as follows:first, this district must promote structural adjustment and strive to develop the industries with local advantages; Second, intensive management is required,which is beneficial to enlarge scale operation; Third, the supporting system of land circulation mechanism is available for the region’s development; Fourth, the service function of government as well as growing supervision will play vital role in this area; Fifth,The improvement of agricultural infrastructure can give major push to the basis for development; Sixth, improving the quality of the rural labor relays on increasing strength of agricultural technology popularization; Seventh, it is necessary to propel the branding of product and then expanding the market vigorously.
