A Research Report Of Family Farm Development In Lin’an

Third Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee has pointed out:“Develop variousforms of moderate scale management, conditional places can develop professional investors, familyfarms, farmers’ professional co-operatives scale operators, etc.” The2013Central First Document hasalso put forward that “Encourage and support the contracted land to professional investors, family farms,farmers cooperatives, develop various forms of moderate scale management.” The concept of FamilyFarm was first proposed in the Central First Document. At present, our country are actively explore thedevelopment of family farm, some of the first pilot areas for the development of the family farm istaking shape. With the rapid development of social economy in Lin’an, the agricultural managementsystem also gradually converts to large-scale operations. The Family Farm is gradually forming as animportant business entity in Lin’an modern agriculture. But in general, the Family Farm is not unified inthe standard as an emerging industry, the government’s policy support is not enough as well, part of theoperators are not very clear about the management idea of Family Farm and the social service system isimperfect. This paper studies the current situation and external developing conditions of Family Farmdevelopment in Lin’an through field survey in part of the Lin’an Family Farm, put forward some usefulcountermeasures for Lin’an Family Farm development and brings a better future. Through the surveywe can find that Lin’an Family Farm is now in rapid development, the individual scale is constantlyexpanding and the proportion is increasing. Moreover, the external market conditions also promotes thedevelopment of the Family Farm which makes the management advantage obvious. Expecting thefuture development path of Lin’an Family Farm, we should make full use of external advantages, giveplay to the management idea, constantly improve the operator’s technical level and self-quality. On thebasis of Family Farm moderate scale management, we can make the Family Farm management modeand the development of agricultural modernization mutualy promote, virtuously circle and finallyrealize the integration of the Family Farm.
