With a large population but less land and the fragmentation of land management, Chines traditional agricultural operations "too close" and "involution".The situation is very long attracted the attention of academics and government. The thoughts and actions of land consolidation proposed to change this situation is also a long history. It was not until the early21th century, with the rapid industrialization and urbanization, the statement of "land consolidation" translated into "land remediation", which breaks through the traditional areas of agricultural land consolidation, and include village renovation as a of important content. Meanwhile it combined with the "new socialist rural construction", becoming the central government’s important strategy of overall planning for urban-rural development. This is due to the "increase and decrease connection of urban and rural construction land" policy. After the central government proposed "agricultural modernization with Chinese characteristics", the land remediation has been given the task of building high-standard farmland and developing modern agriculture with large-scale. Land remediation thus paving the way for local government s’ large-scale transformation of villages.The Daicun village in this study is located in Nanling county, a major grain-producing county in Anhui province. After land remediation becoming an national strategy, the county turned pressure into opportunities by applying for land remediation projects, Actively introducing capital and developing large-scale modern agriculture. Through these methods, the government controlling the construction land index saving from land remediation to crack the "bottleneck" of land in industrial development and urban expansion. Since Daicun village has been approved to implement rural land remediation projects in2012, the large-scale land transfer and village demolition began under the joint intervention of local government and agriculture capital. This land remediation caused multiple conflicts within the village and broke farmers away from their land and home, which ultimately changed the social and cultural fabric of the village. Through the description and analysis of Daicun Village’land remediation project, this paper attempts to show how the "land remediation", an originally constructive policy design alienated to the destructive power for the country.The contents of each chapter are as follows:The first chapter is an introduction, which explain the origin studies. and points out the shortcomings. Then explains the research purpose and method of this paper. The second chapter introduction the original meaning and variation, distribution of land consolidation and in recent years in the order of time., since the year of1912. The third chapter discuss how the government turn the land remediation project into a land opportunity, and the participation in the development of multi-purpose projects of modern agriculture. The forth and fifth chapters discribe the land consolidation project in village of two contents:farmland consolidation and rectification of process. process, the fourth chapter analyzes the transformation process of the land formation, and large-scale circulation, and the agricultural model. The fifth chapter introduces the contradiction of village renovation, the implementation of centralized residence, which caused the disintegration of village space, social, and cultural significance. The sixth chapter is the conclusion part, summarizes and analyzes the variation process, which causes the variation of land consolidation, and then points out the shortcomings of this study.
