Research On Restricting Factors And Countermeasures Of Increasing Farmers’ Income In Mudanjiang City

The establishment of a harmonious society, the sustainable development ofeconomy and society cannot do without the steady growth of farmers’ income. Sincethe reform and opening up, Chinese farmers’ income continued to show growth trendyet which is not stable. In this era of rapid economic growth, the increase of farmers’income is essential, because it will easily solve many related problems. In recent years,Mudanjiang farmers’ income has grown faster, but compared with developedcountries, the full realization of well-off society construction target of China and cityresidents’ income growth, the income of the farmers in Mudanjiang city is still at alow level. Stable and long-term growth mechanism of farmers’ income should beestablished as soon as possible.In recent years, the income of the farmers in Mu danjiang grew faster, butcompared with developed countries, compared with the goal that building amoderately prosperous society, compared with the growth rate of urban residents’income, it is still at a low level. So, the stability long-term growth mechanisms offarmer income need to establish as soon as possible.Source of farmers’ income includes family business income, wage income andproperty income. At present, Mudanjiang farmers’ biggest source of income is thefamily business income. The main restricted factors to the growth of income is thatlow organization degree, limited technology degree and small scale of operation;Wage income is the second major sources of income whose share in the total revenuehas increased gradually. The main restricted factors against growth is low quality ofmigrant workers, half-educated, limited choice of occupation scope and high degree ofaggregation in individual industries; Although the proportion property income is verysmall, with the improvement of farmers’ living standards, the property income can’tbe ignored,“surplus” shortage is the main restricted factor.Drawing lessons from the related research results at home and abroad, combining the state policy of our country and the actual circumstance of Mudanjiang, this paperputs forward the countermeasures to promote the increase of Mudanjiang farmers’income, that is creating a good policy environment, strengthening the construction ofthe supporting system, increasing the potential of agricultural income growth,expanding the employment demand, innovating rural financial system and improvingcultural quality of farmers.
