The Problem And Countermeasures Research Of Urbanization In Mudanjtang City

Urbanization is an inevitable trend of development of human society and itsdevelopment trend is irreversible. China’s urbanization is the only way to modernizeour country， and the key factor affecting the development process of human societyin the21st century. As a long-term development strategy，urbanization has afar-reaching significance for a region as well as local residents， and it directly affectsthe development and fate of the region. Urbanization mode selection determines thepattern of regional development and the rise and fall in the history.Mudanjiang City is located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province， which isthe third largest city in Heilongjiang province and an important industrial city of thatprovince."Twelve Five" is the critical period of Mudanjiang City Urbanization，Mudanjiang City issued the "the Twelve Five Plan of new socialist countrysideconstruction of Mudanjiang City"， clearly put forward that: Mudanjiang City willfollow the three synchronization "industrialization， urbanization and agriculturalmodernization". Now, the urbanization of Mudanjiang City has entered a critical stageof rapid development,but at the same time, the gap between urban and rural areas islarge and it showing a continued expansion trend. In this paper, we described thecurrent situation of Mudanjiang City Urbanization development based on actualresearch, analysis the problem and the reasons of it and puts forward thecountermeasures to promote the urbanization development of Mudanjiang City.This article based on the meaning of urbanization and the theory of urbanizationdevelopment, used comparative analysis method to analysis the successfulurbanization model of foreign country, which including the urbanization patterns inUnited States, Japan and India. Then, the paper also the successful urbanization modelin China, such as Zhejiang mode, Sunan model and Pearl River Delta. In this way, we summarized the common experience to promote the development of urbanization. Tounderstand the development level of the urbanization in Mudanjiang City objectively,we got the relevant data through literature review and field trip. By reviewinghistorical and analyzing the current situation, we concluded the urbanization inMudanjiang City has many problems, such as the urbanization level behind economicdevelopment, lowquality of urbanization, lack of motivation and weak foundation,and so on.The main reasons for these problems are the limitation of institutional andinstitutional factors, irrational industrial development, the lack of a long-term andscientific planning, inadequate investment in urban construction and the weekaspiration of peasants come into city.In allusion to these problems, based on theconcept of scientific development and use the theory and practical experience fromour and foreign country for reference, we put forward suggestions from adjusting theurbanization development ideas, reforming the urban-rural split of the householdregistration system, reforming the current land management system, optimizing theindustrial structure, promoting urban and rural educational development, improvingurban infrastructure construction and management, and solving the problems ofmigrant workers properly. In this way, there are important practical significance forMudanjiang City to achieve a high quality of urbanization and harmony and unity ofurban and rural residents.
